   The surf rack for is pretty good, its stable, adjustable, lightweight and does the job. However, its definitely not worth the price if you ship it internationally. The installation instructions are pretty basic and does not fit all scooters. I had to cut the metal bit off my rear rack. It works best if your scooter rack is flat and has grills cause the racking mounts are pretty wide approximately 15cm by 20cm with one straight line through the middle for the bolts to go through. Some installation tips: bolt & washer/large plate goes on top of rack, heavier plate/nut with 4 drilled holes goes below the rack.

   My motorcycle/scooter rack came in a bicycle rack box that was corrected with sharpie marker to be a scooter rack box. This was unprofessional and frankly I would have rather had it in a plain box. The product is fine. For the price it should have been brilliant, but it is just fine. If you do not have a flat, metal, connected to the frame of your bike rack, (already on the back of your bike) do not buy this. I tried optimistically to hook it up to the plastic frame behind my seat and it ripped it off. If you are going under 35mph this should be great, anything over the wind will catch your board and toss you off the road. I do not think there is any competition, so if you cannot machine metal yourself, and need a surf rack, this is the best buy you can get; and, for that reason I am totally happy with my purchase. It is expensive though. Mine is painted totally black (from the manufacture), I think it looks nicer because it blends in, and the paint probably protects from any rust damage (but this is not like the bronze in the photos). The product is made extremely well. I have no doubt a experienced rider can go 80mph on a big bike no problems. It comes apart super easy for storage and this does not feel dinky at all. It is well made.

   …and though i’ve had to fashion the mount(i use half the stock piece/skrew plus a ratcheted tie down)…this thing delivers; i’ve hit speeds of 80mph w/ no glitches; top flight gear….
